I am happy to present the 17th year Annual Report of Rural Organization for Social Elevation (ROSE). This report highlights the activities and achievement of the organization. The year 2013-14 witnessed visible changes in the client's lives and promoted volunteers and staff of the organization and strengthened their commitment to the cause going beyond the schematic barriers. During the intervention of IEDC the staff members of the organization with their visionary approach have made advent in the project area. The intervention programmefollowed by training and orientation of teachers to educate the differently abled persons and children was given utmost importance this year. To fulfill the need of universalisation of Elementary Education a special school for intellectual disability and a Vocational Training Center for Disabled Students are run by organization with its own resources. Due to crunch of fund we could not go ahead. If God desires we will receive the G-I-A from Govt. of India/State Govt. during the year 2014-15.Before going ahead in presenting the report first of all, we gratefully acknowledge our indebted thanks to Govt. of India Ministry of Human Resources Development, Deptt. of School Education & Literacy for the sanction of grant-in-aid in favour of this organization, Govt. of Orissa, Department of school and mass education, Collector of Mayurbhanj district, Dist. Social Welfare Officer, TE & SCERT Orissa Primary Education Programme Authority, Sarva Sikshya Abhiyan of Mayurbhanjf District, Chairperson National Trust, Donors, Individuals and staff of the organization.
