ESTABLISHMENT OF CAREGIVERS TRAINING CENTRE & VOCATIONAL TRAINING CENTER

A caregivers training center sahyogi (National trust) establishment in the yaer 2009-10 one batch 20 caregivers are trained for the year 2009-10 and another batch 20 caregivers are trained in the year 2011-12. A Vocational Training Center for the Disabled students running under ROSE.

ESTABLISHMENT OF DAY CARE CENTRE (NATIONAL TRUST) GOVT. OF INDIA

A Special School (Day Care Center) for Mentally Challenged has been established during the year 2008-09.The School is functioning at Raghunathpur W.No.22, Baripada, district of Mayurbhanj, Orissa in a rented building. The schools catering to the educational needs of 20 children with mentally challenged. National Trust for the welfare of persons with Autism, C.P., M.R. & M.D, has already identified this institution and Grant-in-aid sanctionedI I for the year 2012-2013.

But due to paucity of funds it is very difficult on the part of the management of the school to continue to run this institution for fulfilling the service needs of these children. In the school fooding, lodging and boarding, teaching learning materials, medical check-up were provided free of cost to these children.

This organization has been awarded a certificate under the PVVD (Equal Opportunities. Protection of Rights and Full Participation) Act of 1995 from the Women and Child Development Department, Govt. of Orissa. and Certificate of Registration (Under section 12(4) of theAct) vide Registration No. 1 853/M.R/C.P/AUTISM/M.D,(NATIONAL TRUST).

FORMATION OF S.H.Gs.

Thee organization (ROSE) had taken initiative for formation of self help groups in Mayurbhanj District. 8 (eight) S.H.Gs. were formed for normal categories of women and 8 SHGs for person with disabilities. The organization has also taken initiative for linkage of the groups with micro finance.
